Probable bacterial : Sounds like you have conjunctivitis, or pink eye, inflammation of the lining that covers the eye and inside of lids. It can be viral or bacterial. It might be soothed with otc saline eye drops. Usually responds to antibiotic eye drops so see md.

Bacterial conjunct.: Likely you have a bacterial conjunctivitis. Most often the oral antibiotics should clear it up. Using hot towel compresses to keep the eyes clean (wipe away green discharge) should help. If this does not help in 2-3days or if vision is being affected or having pain, see you eyemd for an antibiotic drop & it will clear it up fast.
