Symptomatic?: Do u have interventional radiology? We were able to embolize the aneurysm. Unfortunately the spleen infarcted. Still, this was safer than trying to repair given the location posterior to the pancreas. We watched the spleen for 5 days and he remained afebrile and WBC normalized. He went home with the dead spleen and 5 months later is doing ok. F/u ct good. Not every spleen infarcts with tx.

Age sex?: That is in the range to intervene if there is risk. Possibly endoluminal, stented graft or thrombosis depending on exact anatomy.
