SVT: Being overtired or overstressed does not cause svt. But if one is susceptible to svt, being overtired or overstressed can exacerbate the svt. Stress causes release of adrenaline into the blood stream which in turn can stimulate the hearts electricity and lead to svt. Same thing with being overtired, which may mean dehydrated and electrolyte imbalance, and lead to svt.
