A member asked:

Would there be any connection between hpv without obvious symptoms and microscopic blood in urine without infection?

HPV and UTIs: Blood in the urine is most likely to be from an infection or inflammation. On very rare occasions blood in the urine can also represent renal cell cancer. Hpv, the virus that causes warts, cervical and rectal and throat cancer, is most likely not the cause of blood in a urine sample. Most strains of hpv do not cause cancer so i would advise you not to worry much about this.
