Last night all of a sudden i started to have issues urinating. there is a slight burning sensation and there is what appears to be trace amount of blood in my urine. ive had urinary infections before and these were the symptoms?

These are definitely symptoms which strongly suddest a urinary infection. Suggest you get uninalysis, with culture if positive, ASAP so that you can on course of antibiotics. UTIs are best treated early before you end up with fulminating bladder, kidney or prostate infection. Good Luck.

Prostate disease is usually involved in men that develop recurrent UTI’s. Having workup, including urine studies and a physical exam would be recommended with your primary care doc involved who will be able to further coordinate a referral to urology as needed based on preliminary work up. If PCP not available, an urgent care would be appropriate.
