Cholesterol: It means your cholesterol is a tad high as is your ratio of LDL to hdl. Talk to your doc, you should be on a good diet exercise program and if no joy on improving the levels, the doc may want to put you on medication to help it.

Need Information: Cardiovascular (cvd) risk is related to the number of LDL particles (ldl-p) and HDL particles (hdl-p). When ldl-p is high or hdl-p is low cvd risk is elevated. Ratios report an LDL number divided by hdl. However, cvd risk can vary by 40% a the same ratio value. This is because you can get the same ratio with different LDL or HDL values. It is best to know the ldl-p and hdl-p individually.
