Go see your doctor: Concerned about what? Recent fda announcement re azithromycin? Or your cold? How do you feel? Better? Best to address your concerns w/your prescribing doc. Better yet, ask why antibiotics were prescribed for a cold as we try to avoid doing so these days to minimize your risk for developing resistance, much less yeast infection & diarrhea.

Too much.: This is an excessive dose. Even moderate pulmonary infections are treated with 500mg once then 250 mg ach day for 4 days. There is no infection for which the dose is 500 three times/day. Please talk to your doc about reducing.
