Ibuprofen: Your own oral surgeon is the best one to discuss your concerns and prescribe proper pain medication. It's on the high side and might be suitable for you for a day or two, but only your own doctor who knows your medical and dental history can determine that. Some doctors prescribe lower does of ibuprofen along with acetaminophen.
