Was it treated?: If the abscess is treated completely, symptoms should resolve. However, if an infection was widespread, it is often necessary to require systemic antibiotics. In rare situations, drainage of an abscess is required to help the body combat the infection. I would follow up with the appropriate specialist.

What do you mean?: Does sick mean fever and swelling. If so, please see a dentist or go to the emergency room. If sick means in your stomach, it could be from medications your are taking for your toothache.

Depends: Have you had treatment by a dentist, or did you take some antibiotics that you had in your house? You need to see a dentist for proper diagnosis and treatment of your problem. If you have already seen a dentist and your problem is persisting, return to the dentist. You may need further treatment.

It's not cured: If you still sick after the proper treatment then you need to see a dentist asap to examine diagnose and treat the source of the abscess, by taking the tooth out or root canal treated , and prescribe the proper antibiotics for it.

This.........: If you are self treating yourself or not seeing a dentist at all, you've got a big problem that can actually kill you without treatment. It won't go away without definitive treatment! if you are being treated, you need to discuss this issue with the doctor who is treating you. If it's not getting better, ask why and\or how long it will take. If necessary, get a second opinion form a specialist.
