Be supportive: Go to one of her oncology appointments to listen to her doctor & get more information. Results from current treatments can be highly successful. Learn more & be informed. Be upbeat around her & help her when you can, even with small things. She may need your support. And have a yearly physical examination yourself.

Look forward: Although it can be a difficult treatment with a combination of surgery possibly radiation and even chemotherapy most of these treatments are aimed at getting rid of the cancer and preventing it from coming back. Unless she has many other or more serious health concerns that make it unlikely for her to live another year or two, then some form of treatment is a good idea. B supportive.
