Cancer ; depression: Sometimes women dealing with breast cancer do benefit from antidepressants, when depressed. Family and community support is also important. Your oncologist's office will know of support groups that can help. Connecting with your spiritual resources through prayer, meditation, or other practices is essential. . Working with a therapist in mind-body medicine can be of great use in this. Best wishes.
