No: Fortunately this is not a comon or even a rare side efect. Undergoing breast cancer treatment can be depressive specially just after diagnosis.

No: Radiation does not cause this. But the whole process of having cancer and coping with it can lead to depression. Depression should be taken seriously and treated no matter what causes it.
