My mom just diagnosed in july with stage 1 breast cancer. had a lumpectomy. surrounding tissue and lymph nodes all fine and supposed to start radiation soon. however she was now just told she has uterine cancer from a pap. two cancers same time? how?

Breast cancer can metastasize[spread] to pelvic organs including the ovaries. There is a number of limited reports of spread to uterus and cervix. Yes it possible but rare.
