Yes, but it depends: it is one factor. but it also depends on other family history. anybody in the family with cancer ? especially at younger age-less than 40. personal history breast biopsy, obesity etc. FYI- majority - 85%- of breast cancer is sporadic and only minority about 15% is familial/hereditary.
