Bp: You may well have elevated vascular resistance from caffeine or excess sensativity to it. You should see your doc for more observations to be made and to clarify what is going on.

Choose coffee or med: If you like coffee daily and it stays high a day or 2 after then it sounds like it is always high. If you really want coffee every day then you should take BP meds to control your bp, but it sounds to me like your system reacts unusually poorly to coffee- you may be allergic to it & it may harm you in other ways. I advise you to avoid coffee- i don't think it is worth endangering your health!

Average BP : Is the key...Seems unlikely you would need treatment with such a normal baseline ...Perhaps decaf would be a better option.
