Not unusual: Most people have fluid shifts on a daily basis. While we are awake and upright, fluids tend to shift to our lower extremities. When we lie down at night there is a shift to our upper bodies and face. This is why your face may look puffy in the morning. Usually it is not very pronounced. After surgery, for weeks and sometimes for several months this can be exaggerated. It will eventually go away.

Could be postop : It is not unusual to have postoperative swelling for more than a month after surgery. I would attribute morning swelling to edema collection after laying flat on your back all night. All swelling will resolve eventually but could take up to a year.
