Time: Keeping your head elevated will help, but mainly it just takes time.

Rhinoplasty?: If you had surgery only on the septum & turbinates then you should not have any significant swelling of the nose on the outside. The internal swelling can be reduced by antihistamines as usually patients requiring turbinate work tend to be more prone to allergies. Also using anti-inflammatory medications help. Using cold water nasal washes also help. If associated rhinoplasty then 4-6mths swelling.
