Ask your surgeon: After only nine days I'm not surprised you still have some congestion, but there are other factors at play here. Please, direct thus question to your surgeon and his/ her staff. Good luck.

Congestion: Very common to be congested after septoplasty try irrigating the nose with cold saline water. You can also use Afrin (oxymetazoline) for 3 to 4 days only. Do not use Afrin (oxymetazoline) for a longer time. You will get addicted to it if you use it longer. Good luck and feel better!
