Good reason: You should follow up as instructed by your doctor. Many times even though your biopsy was negative, it is recommended to follow up in six months or so to make sure that no new cysts form or no new lump develop..

Consult your doctor: I would recommend discussing this with your physician or the physician recommending the follow up exam. A follow up exam is not unusual after a biopsy.

A follow up: ultrasound after US guided biopsy is fairly standard practice, particularly if the lesion was seen only on ultrasound and not mammography.
