Contamination?: I think your doctor may be worried about breast milk getting contaminated with silicone. I am not an expert on this matter but would discuss with your doctor.

Keep silicone local: The consequences of silicone in breast milk in patients with implants has been studied and formula fed children have 400 times the silicone when compared to the milk of women with breast implants, there are no known, but many claims about potential side effects. However any nursing can pump bacteria in and out of the breast which may not be advised in the face of a known rupture, .

Ultrasound wrong?: The detection of implant rupture on ultrasound is extremely operator dependent and your result may not be accurate. Mri is the most accurate imaging examination for the evaluation of implant rupture.. Your doctor is being cautious in light of the ultrasound report however there is no evidence that breastfeeding with a ruptured implant is harmful to the baby and should be discontinued.
