Bleeding risk: Exercise restrictions following septoplasty depend on the procedure performed. It's possible to perform a closed septoplasty and have no restrictions; whereas, most open procedures will have an open wound that could bleed if you resume your workout schedule too soon. Generally, a week minimum should be free of strenuous activity, but this is a subject to discuss with your surgeon in advance.
