Usually about a week: Dissolving sutures are usually gone in about 7-10 days. However, if the inside of the nose dries out then they can take longer to dissolve. You should liberally use saline spray inside the nose to keep the area moist which will hasten healing and improve comfort after septoplasty surgery.

Fairly quick : It depends on which of the dissolving stitches your surgeon used but for the most part they fall out at about 2 weeks for the ones i use. You me doctor can always cut them out if they bother you and things have healed.

10-21 days, usually: The sutures usually dissolve in 10-21 days. You may or may not notice these coming out, as they often dissolve totally or form a light crust within the nose. Alternatively, seeing "knots" or "thread" coming out of the nose is not uncommon or problematic 10-21 days after surgery as long as it is not accompanied by severe bleeding.

They will with time: The dissolving stitches will gradually dissolve. The regular use of saline nose spray after surgery will keep the stitches moist so they will dissolve and make your nose more comfortable.
