Depends: In general, having the injected vaccine as soon as it is available in your area would be ideal and not interfere with any procedure.The nasal vaccine that contains a live but weakened germ sets up a minor infection in your nasal passages as it works its way into your body to trigger an immune response. It would be wise to avoid the nasal vaccine with this planned procedure pending.

See details: Get the flu shot at least 2 weeks prior to surgery. It will not interfere with surgery.
