Comfort: ...Comfort level w/ your surgeon. There are many techniques available (allogragt, autograft, hamstring, patella tendon), but your surgeon can discuss the best option for you based on further information about your previous procedure & desired outcomes (level & type of activity). Fellowship: I would make sure that the surgeon you are seeing is well trained. Simply ask if your surgeon is a fellowship-trained orthopaedist. Also, ask if your surgeon has ever done this type of operation before.

Acl revision: Look for a doctor that is fellowship trained in sports medicine. The easiest way is on the websites of aossm.Org or aana.Org.
