9-12 months: Usually it is at least 6 months before you go back to pivoting type activities. Some will recommend longer depending on different factors including the type of graft and fixation you have as well as any other injuries that may have occurred initially. I usually follow my patients for 1 year to make sure they are back to all their activities comfortably.
