It depends: It depends. You should consult with your physician. How do you know that your pins and screws are overlapping. On x-ray sometime it appears to be that pins are overlapping when they are not. Are you having any symptoms like pain or swelling? Check with your surgeon for advice.V.

No: You should consult your surgeon. A set of x-rays is probably in order. You only need surgery if this causes you pain or discomfort.

Overlapping hardware: As another physician wrote - how do you know they are overlapping ? On x ray hardware can have that appearance and it is normal. If there is pain then there is a reason for removal. See your surgeon for assistance. Good luck.
