Phase I trial: Certain people may have no standard or fda approved drugs available after they failed several treatments but if they are still in good shape with good organ function, they may qualify for an experimental (phase i clinical trial). Look for a place where this can be offered.

I am getting a pap smear and a Mirena put in on the same day. If my Pap smear comes back that I have hpv or cervical cancer, will the Mirena need to be taken out? Therefor make it a waste of money?

Pap done doc said nothing that showed concern still waitin on results but why would I be having symptoms of cervical cancer?
Can cervical cancer cause calf pain? No swelling. The calf hurts for ten mins or less at a time, not constant. It happens after lying down for while or from hours of standing on hard floors. Stretching helps. I finally got insurance & scheduling doc
