Varies: The average amount of sleep required is 8 hours and 10 minutes. However, normal requirements have a large variation from as little as 4 hours to as much as 14 in nay individual.

As above : Usually between 6-8 hours, since we r creatures of habit it is good to practice sleep hygiene , by always sleeping at the same time and waking up at the same time.
