SLT vs Drops: It depends on the level if control needed and the stage of glaucoma as well as the cause of the condition. Slt done early in the stage has as good a result as any eye drops and for a linger time compared to one dose of medicatin. However it is most effective in open angle glaucoma. The effect is not permanent and follow up is an important part of managing any glaucoma.

Depends: Everyone responds to treatment differently. There is equal success with drops versus slt. You may need both to control glaucoma.
