I have very bad pain for 1/12 in my knee. had surgery, mri xrays nerve study. now i have electric shock waves in my knee. could it be rsd?

Not likely!: See someone in rheumatology or orthopedics! rsd affects distal parts of an extremity!

Maybe: Reflex sympathetic dystrophy or chronic regional pain syndrome should not be made as the diagnosis unless all other causes (diagnosis) of your symptoms have been ruled out including peripheral nerve damage. There is a variety of symptoms that go along with the diagnosis and you may need further evaluation and testing. Good luck.
