Don't give up!: Whatever you do, don't give up! instead of focusing on just losing weight, perhaps setting a goal of doing something active that you truly enjoy could help you maintain your goal without making it a chore. Very few people have the discipline to keep up a structured diet and exercise program over the long haul. That is, unless you're doing the things that you actually love. Here's to good health!

Eat less?: Assuming your thyroid is normal and there are no other extenuating circumstances, the most likely thing is that you're eating more than you think you are. Sit down with a qualified registered dietitian or consider q quality program such as weight watchers. Counseling may also be of help. Good luck.
