Healthy eating: Restricted diets usually do not work for long term weight control. You might consider looking carefully at your portion sizes. We often eat more than we realize. Healthy eating includes consuming a variety of fruits and vegetables ( 1/2 of your plate), lean protein (1/4 of your plate) and whole grains (1/4) of your plate.

Lifestyle changes: You should start with visiting your primary care doctor to discuss your concern. There may be other causes for not being able to lose weight such hormonal deficiency (i.e hypothyroidism). Your diet should consist of lifestyle modifications (avoiding foods high in sugar and starch) to maintain weight loss instead of diet fads. Continue your exercise regimen daily for at least 30 minutes daily.

Lose weight strategy: Your strategy is essential, but if you are not losing weight with your diet plans and exercise plans, then that means that you are consuming more calories than you are burning. You have to burn more, consume less. New strategy: only protein for breakfast; exercise in the morning; eat only whole fruit and whole veg for carb; no bread, no pasta, no cereal; eat no saturated fat; exercise 4x/day
