In my. second pregnancy was told i have incompetent cervix. if i get pregnant again is there a chance it could resolve or do i need another cerclage?

Likely need another: While every pregnancy is different, most experts would recommend an early cerclage (13-15 weeks) in your next pregnancy if you required one and did well in your last.

Repeat cerclage: Once the diagnosis of incompetent cervix is made, typically repeat cerclage is indicated. That said, the diagnosis can at times be open to interpretation. Of you are questioning the indication you should get a second opinion. This is an area in which a maternal fetal medicine specialist would have experience.
