Depends...: Was your last pregnancy preterm? If so you can start Progesterone injections at 16 weeks. If your cervix is short, how short on ultrasound and how far preg are you? Depending on response you may need vaginal progesterone. (no evidence that injections work for short cervix alone-- evidence is for vaginal). Most people won't do trans abd cerclage during preg. You may get a mcdonald cerclage though.
