Yes: Clindamycin is a good antibiotic for tooth abscess ab is the first choice for patients with an allergy to penicillin. Just beware if you develop any diarrhea or bloody stool to contact your doctor right away. It is also important to follow them instructions prescribed to you specifically and to complete your full course of the medication. Finally, antibiotics alone won't resolve the abscess.
