i do basic exercise 2-3 times a week i'm quite young, i don't eat much bad food but i'm having problems losing weight. how should i approach it.

Diet change: Everything we eat that comes from animals contains more calories. In the usa we focus on the main course. Usually this is chicken. Fish, steak etc. You can eat these foods but not in the quantities we are used to. Substitute vegetables, salads , fruits for "animal foods"(meat, cheese, yogurt, milk, ice cream). Many of my patients have taken this advice and have reached their goals.

Lose wt, aerobics: Probably the best way to lose tummy fat would be to lose weight using aerobic exercise such as walking or cycling. Also you can work on strengthening your abdominal muscles. If you don't lose weight you probably not have the washboard abs one strives for.

Unlikely: While one has antibodies for life after being exposed to the virus that causes mono. The virus should no longer be causing a problem.

Normal!: It is not uncommon in some children. If the stool is formed , child is growing i would not worry about it. It is often from green leafy vegetables, coloring agents in the food or simply due to rapid transit from small intestine to large intestine where it normally is tuned brown.

Yes: The answer depends on your baseline weight but in general a pace of 0.5-2 lbs/week is acceptable and achievable. The most important thing is how you are doing this. Make sure you stick to a program that you know you can maintain lifelong instead of falling for the fad diets/regimen. Good luck to you.

No: You can still lift weights and exercise as tolerated. You may be limited by discomfort and if your are then you may need to have it further evaluated to determine if you need any intervention.
