See your doc now: Don't know age, gender, medical or surgical history. August was a long time ago; then was then, now is now. Could be diverticular disease, gyn issues, less likely kidney, bladder. Could be hernias, including internal hernias, could even be colon mass, or gyn mass. Gb is right upper quadrant, would not cause lower left quadrant pain. See your doc. Acutely worse? Er.

Pain: Consider a colonoscopy to evaluate for diverticular disease. Diverticulosis can cause pain but without significant inflammation or infection it may not be detectable on ct scan. Diverticulitis usually has pain, fever, elevated WBC and ct evidence of inflammation.
