Cat scratch disease: Cats carry a virus in their claws and i would guess that is what you have. Unfortunately there are no good medicines for it and it may just have to "burn out".

Cat Scratch: Cats may carry toxoplasma gondi in their stools as oocysts which do not become infective for humans until about 7-10 days incubation in the litter box. Not transmitted by scratching. Cat scratch disease is caused by bartonella henselae and this bacteria can produce ocular disease, but this would have to be diagnosed by ophthalmologic exam. See a doctor soon.
