I have a 5 week old son, who is getting consistently wet and dry sleep only in his right eye, what is the cause and treatment? it happen when he is sleeping or when he is awake and at times the dryness stick his eyelids together.

Lacrimal system : Your child likely has a nasolacrimal duct occlusion. Keep the eye clean and perform crigler massage frequently. Description of massage technique can be found online. Most resolve with time but surgical correction is sometimes needed.
