Have him see a doctor as soon as possible for prompt and proper treatment. Today if possible. Diabetic control and antibiotic treatment are urgent needs.

A diabetic ulcer has to be addressed timely as it can progress quickly to gangrene. Would suggest starting with his family doc for an exam.
