Exercise & good diet: People feel tired and run down often due to lack of exercise and getting out of the house. Being more outgoing is a real help toward having more energy. Also, a good diet is very important, especially one that cuts out carbs and fat. A regular sleep/wake cycle also helps.

More energy: (1) Make sure you're getting 6-9 hours of sleep on a regular schedule. (2) Eat small frequent meals (every 3 hours or so) containing lean proteins and complex carbohydrates. (3) Supplement multi-vitamin and B complex. (4) Maintain a positive outlook towards life. (5) Get baseline blood testing done, if you have not to this point.

Fix the cause: Lack of energy can come from a variety of situations. Dehydration (not drinking at least 5 cups of water a day), lack of sleep/poor sleep, skipping meals, stress, sleep apnea/snoring, chronic sinus problems, caffeine withdrawal, chronic illness (such as anemia) or allergies can cause low energy. See your doctor.
