Animal origin: Molliscs like oysters are famous but there's plenty of B12 in eggs, beef, fish, and cheese. If you are B12 deficient, it may be from following a poorly-supplemented vegetarian diet, or because you have trouble absorbing the stuff; your physician can tell which and advise you appropriately.
