Normal: Ovaries are supposed to have small follicles in them. The follicles are the little sacs where the eggs develop. It is very common and normal to see some of the follicles on an ultrasound.

Probably normal: Follicles are a normal component of the ovaries which are a dynamic organ. Follicles change size during the menstrual cycle, usually less than 2.5 -3 cm. In size.
