Tell Physician: Obviously you have some important concerns as this is an extensive follow-up imaging plan. For specific questions about breast and lymph nodes, however, these may not be the right studies. A swollen or tender node likely needs biopsy rather than a scan. And breast problems need mammograms, ultrasounds or even mri.Best to discuss with the primary physician to help direct testing.Do not wait 3 months.

Radiology: Hi! imaging for breast abnormalities includes mammography, ultrasound, and mri. The chest ct scan is not the optimal exam for your breast or axiliary nodes, so you should inform your primary physician or your specialist about your symptoms so they can perform a physical exam before ordering the imaging test.

Tender lymph nodes: Yes, mention the tender ln's . Ct is certainly a very good test to visualize abnormal lymph nodes in the axilla and in the chest , abdomen and pelvis. Ct is not the best test to visualize abnormalities in the breasts. Why are you having a follow up scan? Do you have a history of cancer? Tender lymph nodes are important to follow up with your doctor. This could be sign of infection or malignancy.
