To see the rest of: ...Your lungs. The abdominal study only shows about a third of your lungs. Your doc will need to see the rest to know what to do. Lung nodules are very common and the vast majority are benign scar(s). Most of the time we just use the ct to follow and make sure there is no growth. There are other tests (pet scan for example) that can be useful when there is concern for cancer.
