Lung evaluation: Hi! when you first see the pulmonologist you will describe your "history" of the lung problem, then the md will do a physical exam. Other testing may be done on the first day including oximetry (oxygen test from a finger probe), pulmonary function test (breathing tests), and perhaps a chest x-ray and blood tests.
