Multiple causes: The causes may include: viral gastroenteritis, acute appendicitis, food poisoning, bowel obstruction, irritable bowel syndrome, bacterial gastroenteritis, cholecystitis with gallstones, diverticulitus, gerd, kidney stone, inflammatory bowel diseases - such as crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis; pancreatitis, ulcers, etc. Please consult your pcp or if symptoms get worse, go to the er.Thanks.
