A member asked:

I have a slipped cervical disc for 3 levels with radiculopathy.dr. advise for surgery .iam not interested .what can i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Several things : Time is the biggest healer as 90% resolve with no surgery. Lifestyle changes like weight control, not smoking & regular exercise are important. Pain management with various medication regimens and injections may help. Also, treatment can be through physical therapy. Some people like to use inversion tables for traction or try acupuncture or even chiropractic. A soft cervical collar may help.
