Cervical radiculopathy since 2009. been getting steroid injections in neck. doesn't help anymore. hands hurt. very swollen. does surgery help?

Hard to tell: Surgery usually doesn't alleviate neck or back pain. It may help untrap any pinched nerves and alleviate the symptoms related to that - weakness, numbness and tingling, but as far as neck pain itself, it is unlikely to be benefited by surgery.
