Less than on beach: Amount of radiation exposure is a fraction of rad in chest xay, it is repeat need less xrays are the problem.Current x ray machine are highly sophisticated will emit very little radiation. If needed and indicated for diagnosis do not be afraid, and speak to the radiologist.
